Honest Food keeps everything on your device.

There is no account, no server of ours, and no sign-in. Your rules, your history and the cached product data live in a database on this phone and do not leave it.

What does leave the device

• Scanning asks Open Food Facts about the barcode. What is sent is the barcode number — not who you are, and not the rules you have set.
• Photos of ingredient lists are read on the device. They only go to Open Food Facts if you turn that on in your profile. The default is off.
• Usage is only reported if you consent. The default is off. What is reported is screens and outcomes — never a barcode, never a product name, and never which allergy or diet you set.

Your rights

"Delete my data" removes everything stored: rules, history and cache. Since nothing is held on a server, that is the complete deletion.

Who is responsible

This app is run privately and keeps your data only on your device.

Was das Gerät verlässt

• Beim Scannen fragt Honest Food den Barcode bei Open Food Facts ab. Übertragen wird die Barcode-Nummer — nicht, wer du bist, und nicht, welche Regeln du gesetzt hast.
• Fotos von Zutatenlisten werden auf dem Gerät gelesen. Sie gehen nur dann an Open Food Facts, wenn du das im Profil einschaltest. Standard ist aus.
• Nutzungsdaten werden nur gemeldet, wenn du zustimmst. Standard ist aus. Gemeldet werden Bildschirme und Ergebnisse — nie ein Barcode, nie ein Produktname und nie, welche Allergie oder Ernährungsweise du eingestellt hast.

Deine Rechte

Unter „Meine Daten löschen" wird alles Gespeicherte entfernt: Regeln, Verlauf und Zwischenspeicher. Da nichts auf einem Server liegt, ist das die vollständige Löschung.
